The Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO) is an agency of the Government of Lesotho that was established by an Act of Parliament: BEDCO Act No.9 of 1980 (as amended). The Corporation provides the following services to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs):

• Business Development Support Services.

• Business Capacitation.

• Incubation.

• Facilitation of access to Finance.

• Facilitation of access to Markets.

• Entrepreneurship Promotion.

To effectively deliver on its mandate the Corporation carried out an institutional review process in 2020 which resulted in a new strategic direction and a new organizational structure to support the new strategy.BEDCO is therefore looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join its Team in the following Position.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Provide entrepreneurs with business strategies, improvement efficiencies in operational, and financial management Advice and support in the regions to grow their enterprises and promote an entrepreneurial culture and mindset to make them aware of available opportunities.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Finance related Degrees. Three (3) years’ working experience in enterprises development services or business support functions

Term of Contract:

Permanent and pensionable basis.

Remuneration:

BEDCO offers competitive Market related remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience.
