The Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO) is an agency of the Government of Lesotho that was established by an Act of Parliament: BEDCO Act No.9 of 1980 (as amended). The Corporation provides the following services to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs):

• Business Development Support Services.

• Business Capacitation.

• Incubation.

• Facilitation of access to Finance.

• Facilitation of access to Markets.

• Entrepreneurship Promotion.

BEDCO is therefore looking for a suitably qualified candidates to join its Team in the following Positions;

1. POSITION INFORMATION

A. Job Title

Procurement Manager

B. JOB SPECIFICATION  

To plan, coordinate, implement and monitor the Corporation`s overall supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivity. To also manage and negotiate service providers contracts to ensure that the Corporation obtains quality products for competitive prices in a timely fashion. Plays an integral role in ensuring the Corporation sticks to budgets and operates profitably.

C. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration/supply chain management or related qualification plus CIPS Level 5 Certificate.

Five (5) years’ Procurement or supply chain experience in a Corporate environment, of which three (3) years should have been in a Managerial role.

2. POSITION INFORMATION

A. Job Title

Manager Marketing, Communication & Stakeholder Relations

B. JOB SPECIFICATION  

Plan and lead the implementation of effective marketing, communication of BEDCO’s brand identity and products, manage partner and stakeholder relations to promote the Corporation’s image locally and internationally.

C. EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Post graduate degree in Communication and Marketing/in Media studies/Journalism and stakeholders’ Management qualification or related field. With six (6) years’ working experience in marketing, communication, and stakeholder’s environment of which Four (4) years should be in a Managerial level, preferably in a corporate environment.

Term of Contract:

Both Positions will be on a fixed term contract (5yrs).

Remuneration:

BEDCO offers competitive Market related remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience.
