BEDCO has received funding to the value of M1 900 000.00 from the Government of Lesotho World Bank through the Competitiveness and Financial Inclusion (CAFI) project funded by the World Bank towards a business Incubation programme which will run for a period of six (6) months. The programme is aimed at incubating the growth of scalable businesses through provision of industry expert support, mentorship, funding opportunities, access to networks and valuable resources. The programme will run for a period of six (6) months per a cohort of ten (10) youth and women owned businesses.

BEDCO is inviting ambitious entrepreneurs to express interest for its 1st cohort acceleration programme. The programme is aimed at incubating the growth of scalable businesses through provision of industry expert support, mentorship, funding opportunities, access to networks and valuable resources.
Criteria
Inclusions
Youth Aged between 18-35 and for women aged up to 44
Have tested concept preferably in priority sectors.
Seeking support to elevate business e.g., procurement of machinery, procurement of raw materials to scale up production etc
Registered businesses with valid registration documents.
Existing venture with at least 2 years in operations.
A scalable business model with a clear value proposition.

Exclusions
The owner of a business is a scholar.
The business is owned by a Lesotho national but operating outside the country.
The applicant is not permanently employed.
