Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO) is a parastatal of the Lesotho Government. It started its operations in 1975 as the subsidiary company of Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC).

It was established as a parastatal in 1980 by an ACT of Parliament , ACT NO. 9 of 1980, as amended, as the arm of Government, under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Cooperatives and Marketing (MTICM) that establishes and promotes Basotho owned business.

The affairs of the Corporation are managed and governed by a Board of Directors through the Chief Executive Officer who is the head of the Corporation. The Board is appointed by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Cooperatives and Marketing.
