Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation
The Basotho Enterprises Development Corporation (BEDCO) is a parastatal of the Government of Lesotho that was established by the BEDCO Act of 1980 as amended.
The primary responsibility of the Corporation is the establishment and development of Basotho-owned enterprises (BEDCO Act, 09 of 1980 as amended).
Since its inception in 1980, BEDCO’s focus has been to fulfil the mentioned mandate through a number of interventions such as entrepreneurial capacity building.
